AKIZUKI class

Akizuki destroyer entered service in the summer of 1942 and participated in the evacuation of Guadalcanal in January 1943. In that mission she hit with a mine and was in the dry dock until July 1943.
hatsutzukidd
(Hatsutsuki ship). The main artillery were composed by 100mm AA guns mounted on double turrets. The guns reached 90º elevation and fired from 15 to 20 rounds per minute.
natsuzukidd
Natsuzuki ship was the last to be finished and did not fight in WWII. She was brand-new when Japan surrendered and was transferred to the Royal Navy in 1947.
