The TC-1 is a lightweight missile with a range of about 9km that can be installed on practically any combat aircraft. The ROC Air Force uses them mainly in their AIDC FCK-1 Ching Kuo fighterbombers and in the AIDC AT-3B Tzu Chung attack aircraft.

Sky Sword 1 has derived several missiles such as the Sky Sword 2, (enhanced version of TC-1), the TC-2N surface-to-air ship launched, the TC-2A anti-radiation missile and the Antelope air defense system.
