HAL RUDRA

The HAL Rudra helicopter is an armed development of the HAL Dhruv, an indigenous Indian utility helicopter in service since 2002. This model is capable of performing combat missions like armed reconnaissance, anti-tank combat, close air support or anti-ship combat among others. HAL Rudra have a wide range of weapons including Nag anti-tank guided missiles, 68 or 70mm unguided rockets, Mistral air-to-air missiles and Sea Eagle, Exocet, Harpoon and Gabriel anti-ship missiles. Due to its excellent capabilities it has been chosen by the Indian Navy, Army and Air Force for different missions in each case. They are built with last generation composite materials such kevlar or carbon fiber give them excellent resistance to combat damage.
