HMS BELFAST museum
Since October 1971, London can be proud to count the light cruiser HMS Belfast among its main tourist attractions. Moored on the River Thames a few meters from Tower Bridge, this floating museum can be visited and admired by any Military and Ship History enthusiast. The visit is very worthwhile and allows us to get an idea of what it was like to serve and fight on a warship during World War Two. We hope that HMS Belfast can maintain this status for many more years and continue to fill all its visitors with admiration and knowledge. I was fortunate to be able to visit it in September 2003, and all the pictures shown were taken by me.
