Arquimea SHEPHERD-MIL

In March 2013, the Spanish company Expal presented a micro UAV called Shepherd-1000 or Shepherd-MIL. This device imitates a bird of prey in great detail and initially it was a UAV designed to keep airport runways free of flocks of birds. Subsequently, the system was evaluated for military use, and thanks to its good performance it became an effective reconnaissance and fire director system for artillery. Currently it has been replaced by the Shepherd-MIL Advanced with improved qualities that is marketed by the Arquimea company.
