2S4 TYULPAN

The Soviet/Russian Army has always attached vital importance to artillery, and as evidence of this doctrine is the impressive variety and quantity of vehicles and gun/howitzers they have in their ranks. One of the most impressive currently in service is the 240mm 2S4 Tyulpan self-propelled mortar, which with nearly 50 years of service, remains as the largest caliber self-propelled artillery vehicle active in the world today.
