The maneuvers carried out by the Russian Falcons are not simple demonstrative figures, they are real combat maneuvers that are used in real operations. This is the main difference with the rest of active military aerobatics teams.
They have performed shows in Belarus, France, Kazakhstan, Norway and some other countries, although they do not lavish outside of Russia as their Russian Knights and Swifts counterparts, easier to be seen in international air shows.
Their shows are usually framed within commemorative events of the Russian Air Force, as well as in inaugural acts on International Arms fairs and exhibitions, which are profusely celebrated in Russia every year.
They have been enjoyed at the International Exhibition of Nizhny Tagil in 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2011 or in the well known Salon MAKS of 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2017. They usually participate in patriotic festivals “open skies” and Military parades.
Their performances are based on 2 versus 2 air combat maneuvers plus the addition of a solo display. Sometimes up to 6 aircrafts take part on the shows, although usually five aircrafts operate.
