The British Armed Forces were the main user of the Bv-202. They served in their Royal Marines units that deployed them in the Falklands War in the final landings operations.

The “Snowcat” was totally amphibious and moved perfectly on deep snow terrain thanks to its wide tracks. Its only drawback was the lack of roof over the trailer, an issue that was later resolved.

Despite its small size, here we see the Bv-202 Snowcat pulling a 105 mm howitzer and a squad of 13 skiers, an invaluable support for the harsh combat operations in the snow.
