Liebherr LTM-1055-3.1

The Liebherr company launched the LTM-1055-3.1 mobil crane model in the year 2001 as the last evolution of the LTM-1055-3 family. The chassis has a 6×6 arrangement and mounted a  367hp Liebherr diesel engine that allows a maximum speed of 85 km/h. This crane can lift a maximum weight of 55 tons at a maximum distance of 2.5 meters  from the vehicle. The maximum height reached the 40 meters, with a maximum suspended load of 1.5 tons at a maximum distance of 36 meters from the vehicle. France purchased 50 units in 2004 for its Armée de Terre, Armée de l’Air y Marine Nationale with several special arrangements such as armored cabins for the crane’s driver and operator, anti-puncture tires or a manual hydraulic emergency system.
