Kynos ALJABA 8×8

In 1985 the prototype of a spectacular 8×8 heavy transport called “Aljaba” (Quiver) was presented. The project had been developed in a particular way by the Spanish firm Kynos with a view to providing the Spanish Army with an effective off-road means of transport for the heaviest vehicles in its inventory. Despite being a vehicle of exceptional capabilities, only a very few units were acquired by the Spanish Army and Naval Infantry, having some success abroad, with more than 70 vehicles sold to South Africa, known there as S.H.E. Cavallo.
