The AGM-53A Condor missile had a range of 110 km, achieved a maximum speed of Mach 2.9, and carried a powerful explosive shaped charge of almost 300 kg. It was a weapon destined to attack valuable targets, but its expensive guiding system made the project fail in 1976. In the same period, a version designated as Turbo-Condor was being developed, it was an air-launch cruise missile (ALCM) that had the same end as the previous one.
