TRINITY

At 05:29:45 a.m. On July 16, 1945, Humanity changed forever. This was the precise moment in which the World contemplated the great and powerful spectacle of the first atomic explosion, codenamed “Trinity“. Finally, and after a cost of US 2,000 million dollars of the time, (about 22,000 current), it was possible to finish one of the most complicated and expensive engineering projects in History. It was the Manhattan Project, or what is the same, the achievement of a controlled chain reaction that unleashed the almost irrepressible force of the plutonium atoms. And finally it was, at 05:29:45 a.m. an explosion with a power of 21 kilotons, (21,000 tonnes of TNT), could be observed in the desert of New Mexico and thus opened a new era in the way of making the War and the Balance between nations.
