T-14 ARMATA MBT

During the 70th Moscow Victory Day Parade that took place in Red Square in Moscow on May 9, 2015, a new main battle tank called the T-14 Armata could be seen for the first time. It is the first of a family of vehicles developed from a concept called “family of heavy unified battlefield platforms” or simply “Armata“. This new tank was intended to be the replacement for the oldest tanks in the Russian arsenal and to be the maximum exponent of modern battle tanks, but at the moment deliveries have been postponed for years and its future is full of uncertainties.
