CASA C-207C AZOR

In 1966, after several years of service with the C-207 Azor on passenger transport missions, the Spanish Air Force decided to make a second order of ten aircraft with some modifications that would allow them to perform tactical missions such as paratroopers launching or cargo transport. The aircraft of this second batch were designated as C-207C Azor, or T-7B in their military designation, They had larger gates to facilitate loading and unloading tasks, reinforced cabin floor and improved avionics. These aircrafts were initially framed in the 35th Transport Wing along with those of the first batch and were later derived to other units such as 904th and 405th Squadrons, where they served until their total withdrawal in 1987.
