Acmat TPK-420 BL

The Acmat TPK-42 VBL or BL, appeared in 1980 as a result of mounting an armored body to the Acmat VLRA 4×4 reconnaissance vehicle. The TPK-42 VBL can carry up to 8 soldiers and 2 crewmembers, and offers protection against 7.62mm arms fire. Light or heavy machine guns can be mounted as main armament, although 81mm mortars or anti-tank missiles could be fitted in some models. Some versions have been developed for tasks such as armored ambulance, reconnaissance, internal security and troop transport. Some 45 vehicles lend or have provided service in some countries of Africa and the Middle East.
