The SAPBA system is integrated into a 260hp Fiat.697N truck with a self-locking differential system and four hydraulic jacks to level the assembly. It has a manual emergency firing system in case of hydraulic system failures.This multiple launch rocket system had anti-personnel ammunition with a delayed fuse that spread 4,500 steel balls over an area of 6,000 m2. SAPBA get into battery in just two minutes and left it in only one, easily avoiding counter-battery fire.
