The Buffel carried up to 10 soldiers who had equipment so curious as a 100 liters water tank for their own consumption on the floor of the vehicle, a vital element for the long patrols in the Sabána.Sri Lanka built almost 100 Unicorns from 1987 to 2000. There were six variants in which new improvements were added. Variants ranging from Mk.1 to Mk.6 that remains in service by the Sri Lankan Army and Sri Lankan Air Force.
