The BRDM-1 2P32 was one of the first vehicles specially designed as missile tank destroyers. They were widely distributed on Warsaw Pact’s members and Arab and African countries.The vehicle did not carry reloading missiles, so it had to retreat after firing the 4 mounted on the missile launcher. The vehicle was very exposed while firing, since it could not move until the missile had reached the target.
