BPB 60 feet-type class gallery

This ships had two 457mm torpedo tubes and two 7.7 mm twin machine gun assemblies for antiaircraft defense as armament.
The MTB-71 was ordered by the Royal Norwegian Navy and completed in 1940. It was requisitioned by the British Admiralty that used it in rescue missions and night patrols against German S-boots.
The most important mission carried out by the MTB-71 consisted in the search of the German Scharnhorst, Gneisenau and Prinz Eugen warships in their Channel dash in February 1942.
