Although it was a larger caliber version of the 20mm Flak.30, the performances were not much superior in some aspects. For example, it had less ceiling, reaching only 2,000 meters instead of the 2,200 meters of the 20mm model.This gun had a maximum theoretical rate of 160 rounds per minute. Unfortunately, in practice it was quite minor due to the use of a loading system based on six round clips.
